Yiu Chi Hong graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong majoring in music in the program Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture . He was awarded the Artistic Excellence Award (Composition) in 2019 and 2020. Yiu has keen interest in investigating the fusion of folk elements into Western contemporary music for various instrumentation ranging from solo piano to large ensemble. He is also a pianist specialized in playing 20th-century music, and have certification in Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) (Piano).
